Beyond Paint & Print is a great opportunity for teachers to put themselves in their students' shoes! Not only do you get to experience ArtVentures' signature program as your students would, we also create resources and lesson plans for you to bring back to your classroom. Watercolour For so many teachers, watercolour paint means splotchy paintings, colours bleeding into each other, muddy colours, and tears from students who have accidentally "ruined" their artwork when they were almost done. This can be so frustrating, especially when it is one of the most affordable and accessible options to bring paint into the classroom! If this struggle sounds familiar, this workshop was made for you. We experiment with a variety of watercolour techniques, learn some pro tips for maintaining our paints, brushes, and palettes, and really understand how to use watercolour with success. Stop being intimidated and unlock the potential of this exciting and versatile medium! Printmaking This medium is always met with "oohs" and "aahs"! Learn the basics of relief printmaking to complete a beautiful mixed media landscape this session. We work in standard frame sizes so it is easy for you to frame it at home (or for your classroom!)

Cancellation Policy

Payment is due on or before the program date. For larger bookings with new clients, a non-refundable upfront payment of 50% - 75% may be required to secure your booking. Cancellations made with atleast 2 weeks' notice will be charged a cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than two weeks notice prior to the workshop date will be billed at 50% of the total program cost. Cancellations made with 7 days' notice or less will be billed the full booking fee. Rescheduling may be possible, subject to availability. Final payment is due on or before the program date.
