About This In-School Program

This in-school project is wonderful for artists of all ages. For Kinders and Division I students, we use Matisse's work as a lense through which we learn the elements of art.

Students enjoy the colour mixing process, learn about Matisse through story, and master their scissor skills. We take extra time to learn how to use and care for our materials properly, making this a great project to include at the start of your school year as it sets both you and your students up for success.

Teachers love this program because it equips their students with skills, vocabulary, and confidence. Students love it because it is SO MUCH FUN.

This project is facilitated in French for francophone and immersion classes.
