LET'S DRAW! Art Retreat for Kids (Teachers Convention)
School is out, but the artists are IN! Emma is taking a break from working with teachers during the convention this year to create with the kids. If your child LOVES to draw and wants to improve their skill, this Art Retreat was made for them.

About
This 2-day, drawing focused Art Retreat is for kids that just can’t draw enough! Dive deep with pencils, learn different techniques for working with a reference image and from observation. Explore a variety of techniques to SHARPEN drawing skills (ha!), and work with a variety of drawing media, including pencil, coloured pencil, oil pastel, soft pastel, and ink.
For all the young artists that spend hour after hour drawing at home, that are always in the mood for more art, that love to hone in and focus, that cary art supplies everywhere they go, that never have enough time to finish art projects at school... As a parent, you have that kid. As an art educator, I know that kid. As a child... I was that kid! This Art Retreat was designed just for them.
Young artists, aged 9-14 years, will improve their drawing skills, explore the possibilities of different drawing media, and begin to learn to work from a reference image and from observation. We will be allowing for more time than usual to complete lessons, and offer plenty of time for self-directed project with expert guidance and advice.
Sketchbook and all materials for project completion are included.
